Classes and Pricing

Children Beginner Epee
For children 12 and under. These classes teach the foundations of fencing from basic footwork to the scoring rules. Kids will be able to develop multiple skills that will help improve concentration and athletic endurance. You are required to purchase (or rent for $50/mo) your own mask, glove and jacket.
We suggest that any new students spend one month in the Introduction to Epee Course on Fridays because that class is kept very small.
$150/month for one day a week
$200/month for two days a week
$250/month for three or four days a week

Click on “SIGN UP/SCHEDULE/MEMBERS” for the daily class times. Depending on the package you choose, your kid gets to attend 1 class, 2 classes, 3 or 4 classes weekly.

Tweens to Adults Beginner/Intermediate Epee
This class introduces electric fencing with metal weapons. We introduce more advanced attacks, strategy and footwork. Great for developing coordination, balance and strength. This class is best for new fencers 12 and up. You are required to purchase your own equipment.
We strongly suggest that any new students spend two classes in the Introduction to Epee Course on Fridays with coach Bui or do a private lesson before joining the main class.
$150/month for one day a week

Competitive Epee Class
By Invitation Only
The competitive class will help build and strengthen fencers both mentally and physically. This class is for fencers (both adults and children) interested in competing at tournaments. Ultimately, tournaments are the best way to hone your skills and test yourself physically and emotionally. Additional Private lessons are strongly encouraged.
$275 per month (Check the online schedule for updated class information. Currently Tue, Wed, Thurs: 7pm-830pm Sat 2:00pm-3:00pm plus unlimited open fencing)

Children Beginner Saber
For children 12 and under. These classes teach the foundations of fencing from basic footwork to the scoring rules. Kids will be able to develop multiple skills that will help improve concentration and athletic endurance in saber, a cut and thrust weapon. You are required to purchase (or rent for $50/mo) your own mask, glove and jacket.

Currently Monday and Wednesday 5:00pm-6:00pm plus unlimited open fencing)

Saber
LVFA is proud to offer the only Saber program in Las Vegas. For ages 6 to adult, Coach Carlos, Coach Luis and Coach Lester will teach you this fast paced sport.
Prices are $150/$200/$250 for 1/2/3 classes per week.

Open Fencing
LVFA believes in sportsmanship, and welcomes anyone to join us for open fencing. Open fencing allows fencers to compete against as many different fencers as possible. This is the best way for any type of fencer to get good at the sport quickly. If you only want private lessons, this is the minimum class that you need to sign up for
$125 per month (Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings. Times will vary)
